That being said, I've made a few changes to the campaign!

The response to the voting for new backpacks has completely blown me away as did the Day 1 response to the new guys (100k in one day? Seriously?). Most campaigns slow down in the middle (unless they go crazy viral!!) and it was the same for Snug-Alongs: Series 1 as well. In fact, we took five days to reach 100k last time! I promise with over two weeks to go we will absolutely unlock Cocoa, Forest and London Fog, so please support the campaign to get us there faster. 🖤🐦‍⬛💚🐇🐾

The huge response to the voting has shown me everyone here is a big fan of voting for new designs. That was part of the reason Series 1 was such a big hit (that I did not see coming at the time, wow). This time, I tried to be more prepared with eight fully finished backpacks, but the PEOPLE! WANT! TO VOTE! And I have heard your voices!!!!

I've spent the past few days crunching numbers, recalculating everything, so I can get a better chance of funding two brand new backpacks during this campaign. So, I have lowered target goals for our current lineup, and right now as it stands, if we can just cross 200k before the end, I will add 1-2 new backpacks that you voted on INTO THIS SERIES 2! If anyone barely misses getting made this round, I PROMISE they will be in Series 3, just like Tangerine Tiger, our Series 1 runner up.

LittleSofts is a very little plush design company, I am not one of the big guys. I fulfill everything out of my attic and do all my own artwork and designs (except the few artist collabs we've had!). For me, raising 100k in one single day of funding for my backpacks, who are my characters that I love and have grown attached to beyond words over the past year, means so much to me.

These twelve animals have been chosen as possible selections to become the next (the 19th) Snug-Alongs Plush Backpack!

The top winners of this poll will advance to the next stage!

Take heed:

-The campaign will have to cross a certain amount by the end to add another backpack! I have not yet determined that amount (the graphic says 300k+, but it could be lower)
-If the campaign is only able to unlock the current eight backpacks, the winner of these matches will be guarenteed to become a Snug-Along next time, just like Tangerine Tiger, who was the runner-up during our first campaign.
-This does not mean these 12 animals are the next Snug-Along for sure! Just there was high interest in them this time and I chose them for how good they could look as a backpack shape. Popular animals who did not make it this time can still have a chance next time, they just need more time and thought to design!
-These doodles are just doodles I did from fun and excitement and are not final designs or colors!

We are still making our way to Poppy Moth!!

For everyone worried the weekend is too slow and we won't unlock all four of the new backpacks -- we will, don't worry about that. Please pledge to help us unlock them sooner!

After all four of the super stretch goals unlock, will we have time to raise enough to add more new backpacks? That I can't be sure of... but there is still over two weeks to go!! I never expected a strong enough start to even consider new backpacks for this lineup but.... here we are!

Therefore tomorrow we will officially send a dozen or so animals INTO THE THUNDERDOME to decide who will become the NEXT NEW SNUG-ALONGS!!! The list has been carefully crafted from YOUR REQUESTS and actually feeding them into a spreadsheet! WE ARE STILL FEEDING THE DATA TO THE SPREADSHEET MONSTER SO KEEP COMMENTING YOUR ANIMAL TO GIVE THEM A CHANCE TO ENTER THE THUNDERDOME!!!!

Last year, as Snug-Alongs Series 1 wrapped up, I did some animal doodles (note the designs have obviously changed a bit since! and London didn't exist yet, I couldn't decide on the 8th animal!) based on requests in comments, who had come close in the polls, and one special little Tiger who barely lost her spot in Series 1 to Sesame Gryphon in the final vote. She earned her top spot as the mascot, the first new backpack of this campaign, even if she had to wait a year.
