I wasn't sure how this would go, being a sequel. There was a big chance everyone who turned up for Series 1 was fully satisfied and would not need any more backpack pals! There are also some unique and niche animals so I also wasn't sure how folks would like them.
I am so happy for the turnout and the fanart and the voting ....we even have some characters lined up already for Series 3!!!
I hope we have a strong finish today and thank you so much again from the bottom of my heart!!!!!

I first learned about the Tasmanian Tigers as a child playing Dangerous Creatures on Windows 94. I watched the little video about them over and over again, missing them and feeling heartbroken over them. I have loved them since then and have been waiting for the right chance to add a Thylacine to the LittleSofts lineup.
Actually, Hobart was already in the works to become a different type of plushie..! But Thylacine was requested so much in our comments, he made it to the polls, and kept making it to the final rounds each time!!
I am so happy to add Hobart to this lineup. Let's unlock him at $255k along with his BeanBud and this new enamel pin I designed for him.
